The property is split level, with an upper level that offers spectacular views and a garden level that also looks over the lake and mountains and opens out to the patio and surrounds. A central living space is the heart of the home and the modern kitchen, dining area and cosy lounge are excellent for entertaining or relaxing. Special touches such as a roaring fire and sumptuous spa bath provide ambience and extravagance.

Spaces
Island View Place offers magnificent interiors, large living areas and a beautifully appointed kitchen and dining room. The upstairs landing offers magnificent views and a quiet space away from the main living space. The central living area is perfect for entertaining, being together and socialising.
The outdoor area looks out to the island view and is well equipped with a BBQ and outdoor furniture for outdoor dining. Outdoor lighting and sheltered spaces let you enjoy the evenings in style.
While you stay you have complimentary access to the Peninsular Bay facilities. The facilities include a fully equipped gym, two swimming pools, two spa pools and a BBQ area. We trust our guests to adhere to the facility rules.
Rooms
The property has five to six rooms and spaces can be configured to suit. Four of the bedrooms have beautiful ensuite bathrooms and each room has a slightly different style and offering. The rooms have simple touches to make your stay special and you will have everything you need while you are here.
Upper Level
Main Suite
The Main Suite is on the upper level; it has a quality king sized bed, My Sky TV and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom is exquisite; it boasts a spa bath that looks out to the mountains, and a spacious shower with everything that you may need.

Garden Level
King Room
The King Room opens out onto the deck and garden for those warm summer evenings, or star gazing in winter. This room contains two king singles that can be configured into a quality king sized bed if required. The room has a generous wardrobe and cupboard space and its own beautiful shower room and ample cupboard space. This locking ensuite bathroom and toilet can also be accessed via the hallway and so is utilised from the living areas.
Queen Room
The Queen Room is a stylish room on the garden level on the cul-de-sac side of the home. It offers everything you need for your stay, including a comfortable queen-sized bed, its own ensuite and generous storage space. This room is next to the bunk room and across the hall from the King Room.
Private Suite
The Studio
Although the Studio was designed with children in mind, adults can also sleep comfortably in this bunk set.
Extras
The house is perfect for all seasons and fun activities: winter for skiing, summer for biking and hiking and of course, weddings and all lake activities at any time of year.
Beds: We have 2 adult commercial quality rollawaysthat can be placed into the Main Suite (upstairs), or the King Room or the Private Suite, allowing added flexibility with your configuration requirements.
Children’s Equipment: We have 2 cots available and a high chair.
Bikes
Island View Place provides guests with 14 quality mountain bikes of various sizes for men, women and children. The bikes are stored in racks in the garage with helmets, locks, and necessary tools.
Skiing
Skiing The house is set up for you to store and dry your ski equipment. We have a ski boot dryer that can dry 6 pairs of boots in the garage. There is space to stack ski equipment safely.
Connection
The house is fully equipped with WiFi and excellent cell phone coverage. The main lounge area has a large 55 inch smart tv with netflix capability (bring your own password) , along with sky movies and sky sport. The upstairs main suite has sky, while the Private Suite has Freeview .

Island View Place pricing includes all linen and cleaning, along with soaps and lotions, some pantry items and a delicious range of breakfast items is provided to start your visit.
Heating and comfort
A large gas fire in the central lounge provides a wonderful ambience and is complemented by 2 large heat pumps in the home. All four bathroom boast underfloor heating. All beds have electric blankets and additional heaters are throughout the home. We swap all duvets over between seasons to ensure you are perfectly warm in winter and cool in summer!
Direct Rates
Our standard nightly rate (non peak) for up to 4 people is $460. Additional adults $80, children under 16 years $50 and under 2’s free. Minimum 2 night stay, longer stay discounts can apply and a partial cleaning fee of $200 charged per stay. Rate includes all linen and cleaning and fresh breakfast supplies for your first morning.
